Organic, chlorine-free, washable wool. This knit (jersey or interlock) fabric is made with low-micron merino wool grown and cerified to the USDA’s National Organic Program standard and processed to the Oeko-Tex 100 standard through the shrink treatment process. This organic washable wool is offered as 100% wool or a blend of 55% wool and 45% organic cotton. Under a microscope, raw wool fiber appears to be covered in scales. ECO DESIGN

The positive and sustainable in this sitting called "Cabbage chair" are many. First of all it is created from a waste material (and that alone is a very important factor) but it is important to note also that the creation of Cabbage chair not been used or elements to stiffen the structure, or glues, or screws. The zig-zag structure of the paper, in fact, gives a strong form of rigidity (increased by the treatment to which the resin sheets are submitted) together with an effective "cushion" gave elasticity of folded sheets.
